The smell of pumpkin is in the air which means trick or treaters will soon be here.
We all made cookies and got to carve our pumpkins that we got at the farm. It was Annie’s first time at the old carving table and I think she did a pretty good job. Boo decided to paint his black when he was done in hope that the carving will show up better. It’s supposed to be Dracula biting some lady on the neck. I look forward to Wednesday so we can see all the trickier treaters. Lori’s mom is going today to pick up Lori’s grandmother. We are all very excited to get to see her and love that she is going to get to stay for a couple of weeks.

We got our pumpkins.
We all took a trip out to a local farm to get our pumpkins to carve for Halloween. There we were greeted by the farmer who was nice enough to give us a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. They were not just some pumpkins set up in a field, he actually had grown them. So we stopped along the way to pet his horses and give them some feed. We are going to wait until next weekend to carve the pumpkins because it is still warm here.

November 30 2005
That has got to be one of the longest months I have ever seen. At least with the new batch of referals we will make it into December 2005 because November has no more days left to milk.

Aaahhh camping we did go!
We all went up to the Buffalo river for the weekend for some fun with nature and relaxation. It was nice to get away but it seems like it always takes a couple of days to recover from the mess of laundry, and getting all the camping gear put back up. I will post more later.

This was Annie’s first canoe trip she was a natural and loved it.
Lori’s parents came with us and it was fun to get to visit with them for a couple of days.
Aw! camp hair, I think he looks like the heat miser from the old chirstmas movie in this photo. He's holding his hands up to show the blisters from kyaking.
Annie & Boo & Me fishing. I'm the one way in the back, just a small dot. We all caught fish that morning.
My dog Vegas. He had really taken a shining to Annie and greats her at the door everytime she comes home.
Then there’s my dog Cecil, who is a little crazy and only loves me, but after the camping trip & Annie feeding him scraps all the time he has warmed up to her a little.
He slept on her lap the whole way home.

These monarck butterflies were all over. One landed on my head for awhile but Annie didn’t get to the camera in time.
Boo with his winning smile in his first kayak ride!
The Buffalo river is one of the nicest places to go in Arkansas, with its river float trips, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, camping; it is one place that if you are bored it's your own fault.
This is where we had to pick Boo up on the way out of the camp to go home. That boy loves to fish and was getting every last second of it in that he could.
Lori & her dad also tried out the kayaks & loved them. They put me to low in the water for my back so I will stick with a caneo. Lori was so impressed with the Kayaks she might get one.
