On to Guangzhou.

We got up early to get ready to go to Guangzhou. I have been working at getting Norah to let me carrier her to some where other than the bathroom because Lori’s back and arms need a rest and well Daddy just wants to carry her too.

She loves to play with me, sit with me and lets me give her a bath and dress her but when it comes to being carried while we are out that is Lori’s job and don’t you forget it! We are going to work on Norah letting me carry her and also on Norah walking because she gets really heavy. Even the empresses had to walk every once in awhile, so it wont kill her.

This is a shot at the airport while we were waiting on our flight. I have to give Norah props she has not peed her pants once since we got her and has been stuck holding it twice, once right before we landed there was a line at the bathroom and she had to wait, and then 20 minutes into the 45 minute bus ride to the hotel she told us she had to go. We get her up about 3 times a night to use the bathroom and she wakes up just enough to go, then back to sleep and a dry bed in the morning!

Norah is starting to catch onto this whole new language of signing. Here she is asking for more sprite.
This morning she asked Lori to get her ball in sign. It comes and goes but we keep on the lookout for signs and reinforce it when she uses one, so she is using them more and more.

As we were flying into Guangzhou it was much greener then Beijing and lots of crops were already started. Look how green everything is, beautiful. We only wish we could have seen Beijing in full bloom.

We stopped by a Thai restraunt for a lunch/dinner. As a treat we got chocolate ice cream for desert. Norah REALLY likes ice cream.

Then we had some playtime before bathtime and bed.

Oh, it is so nice to see her with that big grin on her face. She seems to be adjusting wonderfully to the idea of two doting parents!
